Planning and Performance Management Group

The purpose of the group is to support the Children's Trust Board and its Executive by co-ordinating and monitoring the planning process for the Children and Young People's Plan, and fulfilling the performance management responsibilities of the Trust.

The group produce and refresh the Children & Young People's Plan in line with the requirements of the Children's Trust Board and the Local Area Agreement (LAA).  They ensure that robust performance information is collected, then monitor and review performance against the CYPP outcomes & indicators.  From this they identify areas of concern and make recommendations about issues that need to be driven, and propose changes to priorities and indicators within the CYPP for approval and action by the Executive.

The group supports the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) and ensures the planning process accurately reflects Staffordshire's diverse needs and informs the planning process and involves partners at all levels and young people.

The group is a multi agency group, made up of representatives who are responsible for the planning and performance within the own organisation.  There is representation from both PCTs, District Councils, Youth Offending Service, SCIO, Connexions, Police and Staffordshire County Council.  The group is Chaired by Sally Rowe, whose contact details are noted below.
