Children, Young People & Families Engagement Network

The Children & Young Peoples Participation Network has now merged with the Parents & Carers Engagement Network.

This consists of a bi-monthly meeting of professionals who directly work with children, young people, families, parents and carers. The meetings cover issues such as:

establishing what forums for consultation currently exist;
location of forums;
establishing which forums work well / don't work well;
developing networks;
sharing good practice;
identifying research;
raising awareness of issues for children and young people, parents and carers;
examining consistency of approach used;
facilitating consultation.
