Children's Trust Early Years Group

The Children's Trust Early Years Group was formed in 2007 and had its inaugural meeting in October.

The group has been formed to support the work of Staffordshire's Children's Trust and has a number of purposes:-

To provide an arena for the exchange of views from across the range of early years professionals, encompassing voluntary, charitable, community and statutory partners.
To increase participants understanding of particular views across the range of early years stakeholders, thus supporting more integrated working.
To raise awareness of the Early Years perspective within the wider context of the Children's Trust.
To present information, experiences and expertise to strengthen policy decisions taken at the Children's Trust Board.
To monitor the progress of the early years activity identified within the Children and Young Peoples Plan.
To contribute to the production of strategic plans to ensure that early years issues are represented.
