Staffordshire Children's Trust Board

The Trust Board is a group of Chief Executives and Directors, Chaired by Councillor Peter Beresford, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People.  It includes the two directors responsible for services to children and young people from NHS North Staffordshire and South Staffordshire PCT, a representative from District/Borough Councils, Staffordshire Police, Primary and Secondary Schools' Head Teachers' Forums and the Chair of the Association of Staffordshire Principals (ASP), Connexions, Voluntary and Community Sector, Chair of Staffordshire Safeguarding Children Board, and the Director for Children's Services for Staffordshire County Council.  The Board is responsible for the governance of the Trust.  It meets quarterly and discusses many issues including: joint commissioning; the Children and Young Peoples' Plan; communications; risk management; integrated service delivery; and performance management.
