Sharing Our Success!

As parents, everyone raises their children differently and parents can be effective in very different ways. There is no guide for bringing up children, and perhaps nor should there be, as it is a unique and different experience for us all. Nevertheless parents needs, will, of course, vary and it is right that services to parents should vary as well; parents may require different levels of information, advice or support at different points in their child's life.

Staffordshire therefore sees its work for parents on a continuum from information and accessible provision for everyone through to more intensive support as required.

In Staffordshire we pride ourselves on the fantastic and diverse range of initiatives and support that we offer to meet the needs of all parents; because of this we wanted somewhere where we could not only share our successes but also where practitioners could share ideas of what works and showcase the work they have been doing.

This webpage has been set up to do just that!

If you have a project that you would like to share, a piece of work that you are proud of and want other practitioners to see then this is the place to show it off!

Please send an A4 sheet outlining the work that you have done along with the links and contact details, so that other practitioners can contact you to find out more, to maxine.kelly@staffordshire.gov.uk .
Your project will then be put onto the webpage for all to see!

We will be publicising the webpage and encouraging practitioners to access it so please, share your successes with us and help us to celebrate the great work that is being done with parents across Staffordshire.
