Of all the blogs that I have written as Commissioner for Parents this is going to be the hardest!

As you are aware by now I will leave my post as Commissioner for Parents at the end of this month and take up a new position as Assistant Director - Targeted Services from 1 May.

Looking back at the journey as Commissioner for Parents and I see what we have achieved in a relatively short space of time only shows the true commitment and dedication from staff, parents and carers to get a Parenting Strategy that is embedded with a robust structure for the voice of the parents to be heard and we should all feel very proud.

I will not say 'Goodbye' but instead 'Au Revoir' as I know that our paths will cross again in the future.
