A short but most important blog!

At the end of September, two young people were appointed specifically to support my role and the work of the Children's Trust, to help us involve as many 5 - 18 year olds as we can, across Staffordshire.

A huge welcome to Matt Dittmer and Joe Sullivan, whose work plan will include:
• Staffordshire Children & Young People's Plan
• Making better use of IT - (look out for Matt on bebo, my space and face book)
• Developing a 'child friendly' web site
• Complaints - are systems good enough?
• The ongoing work of VIA and shadow trust boards
• The C&YP Participation network
• 2 x annual 'consultation' events

As you can see, they will be very busy over the next twelve months, with an extensive work programme!
